Situated in the beautiful region of Puglia, Brindisi is one of the most beautiful cities in Puglia, rich with history and culture. However, underlying its beauty lies the challenges of life. Since 2020, Brindisi Tabernacle is bringing the tangible love of Christ to those in this town who face these challenges daily.

The outreaches and programs at the Brindisi Tabernacle aim to promote Christian values and intercultural integration, concrete help towards those who are looking for support and help. Through their feeding program, their neighborhoods and local schools by partnering with non-profit organizations, local municipalities, supermarkets, grocery outlets and local people. 130 families are served every month.

English classes are offered to all ages. Whether one learns at the beginner’s level or to pass an English exam, the volunteers help the students achieve their goals during the weekly classes. There are also music classes where students learn a musical instrument and these classes also provide an outlet for creativity. For children ages 4 to 11 years old, Brindisi Tabernacle has a special program called Gospel Kids, where children are taught English through Gospel music.

Brindisi Tabernacle knows the importance of education; hence; there is tutorial classes to help students aged 6 to 19 with their school lessons and homework. Teenagers with learning disabilities are supported and helped by professional teachers.

Together with High5Give5, 30 families with special needs receive food packages and 10 children under 2 years old receive milk and baby food once a month. With the current situation in Ukraine, 2 Ukrainian families are helped with food and education with High5’s assistance.
