Ancora International was established to bring hope to suffering children, to strengthen families to be an anchor for the youth and to be a shelter for the orphans and the needy throughout Albania, the Balkans region and southeast Europe.

Through our food project, Ancora International provides food packages, emotional and spiritual care to many families, abandoned elderly people, widows, orphans and children in deep poverty in the city of Tirana and the surrounding villages. Our team of volunteers give food packages and share the love of God, providing physical and spiritual food.  

The current economic crisis in Albania has caused food prices to increase by 70%, transportation by 50% and also the prices of everything. Many are afraid for their future and the poor suffer the most. We continue to visit with these families and children on a regular basis as we believe in the transformation power of God’s Word. Through the visits and sharing, many have learned that God cares for them and they are not alone.

We are serving, praying and believing for the transformation of the lives of the people through the power of God's Word and by being His hands in reaching their needs. During Easter, Christmas, Women's Day, Children's Day, etc, we hold special services to share messages from the Bible and encourage them to put their trust in Jesus.
