The children we feed in karamoja often are hungry and naked. They live in the harsh conditions of karamoja where the rains can take six months if not more without raining. Most of the parents used to keep cattle and depended on cattle for everything. But because of insecurity, many of them lost the cows as well. The Community development officer extends her appreciation to High5 for the support you are offering to the children of the community.The Local council 3 leadership, LC3 is the equivalent of the mayor of the community here. He thanks High5 for feeding their children, and appreciates the Church for teaching discipline and literacy to the children. The porridge and the snack is always enough except on days when kids go beyond 800.Thank you so much for making a difference in the lives of our children.
